Pet Signs

How To "Read" Your Pet

Who would be better than the owner in detecting changes in a pet's behavior, attitude, and health? Pets can't tell you when something is wrong, and they can often suffer in pain and discomfort silently. It's important that you watch for little signs that could indicate a pet is in distress, even though the signals may be far from obvious.

Here are some of the signs of current or pending trouble:

Weight Loss

Not Active

Drinking or Urinating More Than Usual

Pawing at Face

Vomiting or Diarrhea

Shaking Head

Abnormal Stride

Sneezing or Coughing
